Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Resume Matcher browser extension and website ("the Service"), operated by Resume Matcher ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Resume Matcher analyzes a job posting you are viewing against a resume you provide and generates an ATS match score, keyword analysis, cover letters, and tailored resumes. Outputs are AI-generated suggestions; you are responsible for reviewing them for accuracy before use.

2. Accounts

You sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your access secure. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

3. Plans, billing & renewal

The Service offers a free plan and paid plans (Pro and Max) billed monthly through our payment provider, Dodo Payments, who acts as Merchant of Record. Paid plans renew automatically each month until cancelled. Prices are shown on our pricing page and may change with notice; changes do not affect the current billing period. You can cancel anytime; see the Refund & Cancellation policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: reverse-engineering or abusing the API, exceeding plan limits through automation, submitting unlawful content, or using outputs to misrepresent your qualifications. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the resume content you provide and the outputs generated for you. We retain ownership of the Service, its software, and branding.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, or that AI outputs are error-free or complete. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies; review it before relying on it.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resume Matcher is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 3 months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to comply with law.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
